University dorms don’t always have free places, and renting a private flat from the other end of Europe, with no Polish phone number and no way to view the place, can be a bit of a lottery. Where do Erasmus students live in Krakow?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In Krakow, the answer comes down to a single address: Aleja 3 Maja 51A, postcode 30-062. It’s a central location, so you don’t need to plan long trips to reach your university or the city centre. The building operates on a coliving basis, meaning you have your own room or studio, plus plenty of shared space that all residents use.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What matters for someone arriving from abroad: reception and security operate round the clock, seven days a week. Wi-Fi and all utility bills are included in the price, so there’s no need to sort out electricity, water, or internet separately, which can be a real hassle in a foreign country. For a student who’s still learning the language and doesn’t know the local paperwork, this setup takes several worries off their plate at once.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Coliving itself isn’t a new idea. In many European cities, student housing has worked on a similar model for years: a private area for sleeping and studying, plus shared zones where people get to know each other. For students on exchange, that second element is sometimes even more important than the size of the room, since it’s around a shared table that you most easily meet someone in the first few days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prices depend on which room you choose. The cheapest option is the economy twin, at 18.5 m\u00b2, from PLN 1,500 a month per person. The classic twin starts from PLN 1,780 per person. If you’d rather live alone, there’s the 17 m\u00b2 compact from PLN 2,750, the classic from PLN 2,900, and the premium single from PLN 3,400. Twin means a room for two people, so you split the cost and get to meet someone right away in the process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What’s on site<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The list of amenities at the Krakow building is fairly long. There’s a gym, a cinema room, a games zone, a yoga studio, a dining area with a kitchen, and study zones. There’s also a \u017babka shop on site, which turns out to be surprisingly handy when you realise at ten in the evening that you’ve run out of milk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Contracts can be signed short-term, or for 10 or 12 months \u2014 that flexibility matters, since not every exchange lasts a full academic year. The 2026\/2027 academic year itself is scheduled to run from 21 September 2026 to 9 July 2027.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Where do Erasmus students live in Warsaw?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In the capital, things look a bit different, since Shed Coliving runs two separate buildings there. The choice between them mainly comes down to which part of the city you study in and what your budget is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sky Living na Ochocie<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The first building is Sky Living at ul. \u017bwirki i Wigury 31, in Ochota. Prices start from PLN 1,999 a month. The 16 m\u00b2 compact costs from PLN 3,049, the 18\u201321 m\u00b2 classic from PLN 3,249, and the larger 21\u201327 m\u00b2 option from PLN 3,449. If you want a lower cost, you can also rent a spot in a twin studio, from PLN 2,099 per person.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Campus Living in Mokot\u00f3w<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The second address is Campus Living at Smyczkowa 3, in Mokot\u00f3w. Here, the 16 m\u00b2 economy compact starts from PLN 2,999, the premium costs from PLN 3,099 to 3,149, and the cheapest option, the economy bunk twin, comes out from PLN 1,800 per person.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At both Warsaw buildings, the studios are fully furnished, reception and security operate around the clock, and the price includes all utility bills, Wi-Fi, and air conditioning. Air conditioning might sound like a small detail, but during a hot September it can make a real difference to how comfortable studying is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Partner universities and contracts<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Warsaw buildings work with several universities, including \u0141azarski University, Vizja University, and Moderna University. There are study and coworking zones on site, so you don’t need to look for a caf\u00e9 just to sit down and work on a project in peace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As for terms, you can choose the whole academic year or a single semester. The winter semester covers September 2026 to February 2027, and the summer one runs from February to July 2027. Individual terms and short-term stays are also possible. As in Krakow, the price includes bills, Wi-Fi, and furniture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s worth knowing that both cities are part of a larger group.
